We Care

When people feel like they do not matter to others and that no one really cares whether they live or die, it can have a catastrophic effect on their spirit, soul, and body.  Subsequently, individuals with this mindset, have a domino effect on society and increase the cost incurred to provide for them in every area of their lives.  There are far too many occasions when the ultimate effect occurs when lives are taken by suicide and/or homicide.  In addition, society is deprived of the skills, talents, and giftings of individuals in this situation because they have little motivation to succeed.  

CARING, INC. will provide support, encouragement, and empowerment to adults (18 years old and older) who live alone and single parents (18 years old and older) who have no family, are estranged from family, and have minimal or no community support.  CARING, INC. will provide weekly telephone calls as well as calls on birthdays, holidays, and days having severe inclement weather.  Additional “caring” will be provided on birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Resurrection Sunday.  Calls are intended to be “friendly visitor” encounters with prayer but not counseling.  Initially, CARING, Inc will serve 10 families and will increase capacity as the staff grows.
